Chris Ranson, a Product Design Engineering student at the Glasgow School of Art, got in touch with me to ask for some advice regarding his final year project. He’s developed a fantastic idea for a travel guitar – the neck clicks out of place and into the guitar body by a click-lock rail system. The whole thing can then fit into a small backpack.
He got a 1st for the project. You can see more of his work at chrisranson.com. This is me admiring the prototype guitar at his degree show:
Well done, Chris!
